Singapore Airlines plans to add full-service dining to its First Class SilverKris Lounge at Changi on October 28, 2026, alongside the existing buffet. It is the next dated change in the airline’s October 19 ground-service update, which also sets out concierge assistance for Suites and First Class customers.

Who gets assistance at Changi?

The airline describes escorts for departing, connecting and arriving Suites and First Class passengers, including customers connecting from another carrier to an eligible SIA flight. Customer-experience senior vice president Yeoh Phee Teik describes assistance across those three stages. Complimentary buggy transfers depend on availability.

The faster security lane has limits

The Premium Security Screening Lane covers Terminal 3 gates A1–A5, daily from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.–1 a.m., Singapore time. Solitaire PPS Club members also qualify for that lane. At other gates, the airline describes security assistance rather than the same lane.

Keep those distinctions separate when planning a connection. Confirm your departure gate and eligibility with staff, and leave time for the normal airport formalities; assistance does not remove screening requirements.

Check the lounge, not just the cabin label

The October 28 dining change concerns the First Class SilverKris Lounge. The Private Room’s personalised dining continues separately.

Before planning a meal around a connection, ask which lounge your ticket permits and check the onward boarding time. A lounge upgrade and a flight’s onboard equipment are separate questions: our KrisWorld and Starlink rollout guide explains the latter.
