Vietnam Airlines plans to start daily nonstop flights between Da Nang and Singapore on November 17, 2026, adding a direct option for travel between central Vietnam and the city-state. The airline says it will operate the service with Airbus A321 aircraft.
The official announcement, published October 23, describes a future launch—not a service that has already begun.
The announced departure schedule
- Da Nang to Singapore: daily, departing at 3 p.m. local time.
- Singapore to Da Nang: daily, departing at 7:45 p.m. local time.
- Planned start: November 17, 2026.
- Planned aircraft: Airbus A321.
Those are departure times at the respective airports. Check the arrival time and date displayed on your actual itinerary rather than using the two departure times to estimate flight duration.
A direct option for central Vietnam
The new service adds another Vietnam Airlines gateway from Singapore alongside Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The carrier says the addition will bring its Vietnam–Singapore network to 42 round trips each week.
For travelers whose destination is Da Nang, the new route may remove the need to connect elsewhere in the airline’s network. Compare the complete journey, including ground transport and the cost of any separate onward booking, rather than choosing on the base fare alone.
What to check before buying
Search the airline’s booking system for your exact travel dates and confirm that the itinerary is nonstop. Daily operation does not establish that the same fare or seat availability will be offered on every departure.
Compare baggage allowance, change conditions and any connection protection included with the fare. Promotional baggage or mileage benefits can have ticketing and travel-date restrictions; rely on the conditions attached to the ticket you purchase, not a general launch headline.
Keep the airline’s booking reference and contact details current, and recheck the schedule before departure. The announced A321 operation is a fleet plan, not a guarantee of a particular registration or seat layout.
