Singapore Airlines has extended cancellations of its Singapore–Dubai flights until February 28, 2027, according to an advisory updated on October 30 at 11:30 a.m. Singapore time (03:30 UTC).
The airline cites the geopolitical situation in the Middle East. The notice covers SQ494 from Singapore to Dubai and SQ495 in the opposite direction.
What affected passengers can do
SIA says affected customers may seek a full refund of the unused portion of their ticket. Passengers who booked directly with the airline can use the assistance request form linked in its advisory. Those who booked through a travel agent or partner airline should contact that seller for help.
The airline advises customers to keep their contact details current through Manage Booking or subscribe to flight notifications. Check the airline’s flight-status page for an individual booking.
No confirmed restart date
The cancellation endpoint does not establish a March 1 restart. SIA describes the situation as fluid and says other flights may be affected; the notice does not identify additional cancelled services.
