Guam’s airport flight board lists cancellations on October 18 and into the early hours of October 19 as the island deals with Typhoon Champi. Travelers should check their individual airline before leaving for A.B. Won Pat International Airport rather than treating a later scheduled flight as confirmation that operations have recovered.

What the airport board shows
The official airport schedule lists October 18 cancellations across several airlines. Examples include United UA201 arriving from Honolulu and UA183 departing for Manila. Early October 19 entries also include cancellations.
Later October 19 services appear as on time on the same board. Those are forward-looking statuses, not proof that flights have operated or that every service will resume as planned. Check the flight number and direction: an arrival and departure on the same route are separate services.
Check with the airline before traveling
In its October 16 passenger advisory, Guam Airport urged customers to register for airline alerts and check flight status online to avoid unnecessary travel during unsafe weather.
If your flight is canceled, use your airline’s booking-management or customer-service channel to confirm available alternatives before purchasing a replacement. Ask whether any travel waiver applies to your ticket; a general disruption report does not establish your booking’s eligibility.
Weather conditions remain a separate consideration
Guam’s 12:45 p.m. October 18 government bulletin said the island remained in Condition of Readiness 1 and urged people to remain indoors. Follow subsequent local instructions; an airline schedule is not an all-clear for road travel.
The sources checked do not establish a blanket airport closure or a confirmed airport-wide reopening time. Keep the airport’s operating status, your airline’s flight status and local travel-safety directions separate.
