Aerolíneas Argentinas is set to increase direct flights between Buenos Aires Aeroparque and Catamarca for the southern summer under an agreement signed on October 26. The plan reaches 10 flights a week from December 2026 through March 2027, according to Aviacionline’s October 26 report.
How the increase is planned
November’s programme is due to rise gradually from seven to nine weekly flights, before the tenth is added in December. The fuller summer pattern combines seven morning services with three afternoon services on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
That means a second service on selected days, rather than two flights every day. The reported Buenos Aires endpoint is Aeroparque, not Ezeiza; check the airport shown on your ticket before arranging a connection.
An agreement for the summer season
Catamarca Radio y Televisión’s October 26 account says Governor Raúl Jalil signed the agreement with provincial officials and tourism-sector representatives present. It describes a summer programme, with continuation to be renegotiated after the agreed period.
The local report quotes tourism minister Daiana Roldán presenting the deal as support for tourism while the province explores other connectivity options. Those discussions are not confirmation that another airline has committed to a route.
What to check before booking
Look up your specific travel dates with Aerolíneas Argentinas and compare the morning and afternoon options, total fare and baggage allowance. An announced weekly frequency is not a live inventory count or a guarantee of availability on a particular day.
If connecting from another Buenos Aires airport, check the transfer separately and allow sufficient time. This report does not establish that separate bookings are protected, or promise a fare, aircraft type or exact departure time.

These are planned future frequencies, not a claim that the December programme is already operating. Published official comments are attributed reporting, not Flyzeu interviews.
