TAP Air Portugal has scheduled the return of direct Lisbon–Caracas flights from October 27, with two services a week on Tuesdays and Sundays, according to AeroTelegraph’s October 27 report attributing the plan to the airline.

A return to the Caracas route

The report says the connection was interrupted after Venezuela’s June earthquake and that TAP temporarily served Valencia from July. Aviação TV’s October 26 report also gives October 27 as the return date and Tuesdays and Sundays as the operating days.

This is a report of the announced schedule. Flyzeu has not independently confirmed that the first restored flight has departed or landed. The route’s planned return should not be treated as proof that every flight or onward connection is available.

Check your booking and any older disruption notice

TAP’s current alerts page retains a Venezuela notice allowing date changes for eligible tickets issued through June 24 for Caracas journeys through October 31, 2026, within ticket validity. That notice does not itself confirm the new flight’s operation. Check the eligibility of your own ticket with TAP.

Before travelling, verify the departure date, airport, local times, any intermediate stop and baggage conditions in the airline’s current booking or flight-status information. Confirm onward connections separately. This report does not reproduce a promotional fare or promise a particular aircraft, journey duration or connection.

Source note: the return date and frequency are attributed to the linked October 26–27 reports. The airline’s alerts page was checked separately; a dated original resumption release and completed inaugural movement were not independently obtained. No first-flight or airport-safety clearance is claimed.
