PIA Dreamliner flights between the UK and Pakistan are planned from early November 2026 under a new agreement with Norse Atlantic Airways. The October 9 announcement covers two Boeing 787-9 aircraft; it is not confirmation that the new services are already operating.
What did PIA and Norse agree?
Under the agreement announced by Norse, Norse will supply the aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance. This arrangement is known as an ACMI lease, rather than an outright purchase of two jets by PIA.
Which UK–Pakistan routes will use the aircraft?
The announcement refers to multiple destinations between the two countries but does not provide a complete city-by-city schedule. The expected early-November start remains a plan, not evidence that every PIA UK flight will switch to a Dreamliner.
What should passengers check before booking?
Before choosing a flight because of its aircraft type, check the operating carrier, seat map and cabin description for your exact departure. Do not assume a specific seat layout or onboard service from the aircraft model alone.
If the aircraft matters to your booking, ask PIA to confirm the current assignment and review the fare’s change conditions. Keep your booking confirmation and check again closer to departure, as aircraft assignments can change.
