Nuremberg Airport’s winter programme adds easyJet as a new airline partner, with seasonal links to two London airports, Manchester and Milan. The airport set out the expanded offer in its October 20 winter update, ahead of the new season.

The routes were first announced by easyJet on June 25. This is a winter travel preview, rather than a new route announcement or confirmation that every service has already started.

London Gatwick (LGW)
London Luton (LTN)
Manchester Manchester (MAN)
Milan Malpensa (MXP)

A seasonal route is not a promise of daily operation or availability throughout the winter. Search both the outward and return dates before arranging accommodation. The change to the overall winter timetable on October 25 does not mean every new connection began that day.

London means four different airports

Alongside easyJet’s Gatwick and Luton plans, the airport lists British Airways to Heathrow and Ryanair to Stansted. Nuremberg says the combined offer reaches up to 25 weekly London departures in December; that total covers the airlines together, not easyJet alone.

Airport managing director Dr Michael Hupe describes the wider winter programme as strengthening the region’s connections for leisure, family and business travel.

When comparing London options, keep the airport code visible throughout the booking. Check the arrival airport, the return departure airport and your ground-transfer plans together. A cheap flight is less useful if you have planned the rest of the journey around a different airport.

What to check before booking

Compare the complete fare, including the baggage and change conditions attached to the ticket you select. Route announcements do not establish a current seat price or availability on your dates.
