JetBlue’s baggage page lists a first checked-bag charge of $60 on off-peak dates and $70 on peak dates when payment is made within 24 hours of departure. The table covers the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada, for travellers whose fare or benefits do not include a bag.
The airline’s published baggage rules, checked on November 3, direct customers with bookings made before November 3 to Manage Trips for their applicable fees.
Charges shown within 24 hours of departure
| Checked bag | Off-peak | Peak |
|---|---|---|
| First | $60 | $70 |
| Second | $75 | $85 |
These are the late-payment figures for the listed regional routes. Transatlantic flights have a separate schedule. Oversize and overweight charges can also apply.
Check dates and included allowances
JetBlue’s peak calendar includes November 5–11 and November 19–30, all of December 2026, and January 1–18, 2027.
Included-bag benefits depend on fare, Mosaic status and eligible card terms. A displayed fee does not mean every passenger must pay it. Check the allowance attached to your own reservation before buying a bag.
Adding bags earlier can reduce the charge. Use the airline’s bag calculator or Manage Trips for the exact amount for your journey, payment time and booking date.
