Avelo plans two new Florida routes from McKinney National Airport, adding Sarasota/Bradenton and West Palm Beach in December 2026. The airline announced the expansion on October 15.
When the flights start
- Sarasota/Bradenton: December 16, with Wednesday and Saturday flights.
- West Palm Beach: December 17, with Thursday and Sunday flights.
The additions bring Avelo’s announced McKinney network to 11 destinations. The airline’s first services from the airport are scheduled for November 11; the two Florida additions do not start then.
The $69 fare needs a closer look
The advertised one-way offer applies to eligible January 7–31, 2027 travel, booked by October 22, 2026—not automatically to December launch flights. Seats and dates are limited; baggage, assigned seats and other extras can cost more.
Plan around the operating days
Before booking accommodation, check both outbound and return dates. Twice-weekly flights may not fit a fixed weekend trip. Compare the complete trip cost, including ground transport, rather than airfare alone.
