United Airlines launched a Starlink flight checker on October 15, 2026, giving travelers a way to check whether their upcoming aircraft is expected to offer the satellite Wi-Fi service.

The useful change is visibility before departure: passengers can check a specific flight rather than assume that an airline-wide rollout means their own plane is equipped.

How to check your United flight

Open United’s official Starlink Tracker and enter your flight number and travel date within three days of departure. United says the checker reflects last-minute aircraft changes in real time.

Recheck close to departure. In its October 15 announcement, the airline cautions that aircraft assignments are generally confirmed within 24 hours of departure and can still change. Treat a result as an indication of the assigned aircraft rather than a guarantee.

United also flags scheduled Starlink service in preflight emails, texts and the flight-status page in its app.

The rollout is still in progress

United reported more than 635 equipped mainline and United Express aircraft on October 15, serving nearly half its daily departures. It targets completion by the end of 2027; that remains a plan.

The tracker also shows progress by aircraft group and hub. For trip planning, use your own flight’s result. Keep essential documents and entertainment downloaded in case connectivity is unavailable.
