Air New Zealand’s Christchurch expansion combines a Singapore service confirmed as year-round with planned November starts to Tokyo Narita and Perth, plus a Bali route expected in winter 2027.
This guide was checked on November 3, 2026 against the airline’s October 28 announcement and Christchurch Airport’s summer programme. The announcements predate this guide; the planned services should not be confused with routes already launched.

Singapore extends beyond the original season
Air New Zealand’s October 28 confirmation changes Singapore from its original seasonal plan to a year-round service. The airline said the route builds on its alliance with Singapore Airlines and provides connections beyond Singapore.
A year-round route announcement does not establish a flight on every date. Check the operating days and the complete itinerary, especially when connecting onwards.
Before buying a ticket
Compare the operating airline, travel dates, connection time, baggage allowance and fare-change conditions. For Bali, keep a proposed 2027 itinerary separate from a confirmed booking until the airline offers the required dates.
