KLM says its first Airbus A350-900 flight carrying passengers departed Amsterdam Schiphol for Toronto on October 30, 2026. The airline identifies the service as KL0691 and says eight metric tonnes of cargo were also aboard.

The aircraft is named De Nachtwacht, or “The Night Watch.” KLM’s announcement describes the departure as a step in its fleet renewal programme.

Further destinations listed without dates

After Toronto, the airline says the aircraft will serve Montreal, Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam, Nairobi and Zanzibar. The October 30 notice does not give start dates or frequencies for those destinations.

Aircraft assignments can change. Passengers should check the aircraft information for their booked flight.
