Lufthansa, SWISS and Eurowings have postponed their planned return to Dubai to November 25, 2026. Passengers holding late-October or early-November bookings should check their actual reservation rather than rely on earlier restart announcements.

The decision was announced on October 23, not newly on October 26. Eurowings’ dated notice attributes the change to the situation and outlook in the Middle East. Lufthansa’s current travel information confirms the November 25 plan.

Which earlier dates have changed?

SWISS Newsbrief 50, dated October 23, specifically replaces its planned October 27 Zurich–Dubai restart. Eurowings had previously planned to resume on November 1.

November 25 is the airlines’ current intended resumption date. It should not be read as proof that flights have restarted, or as a guarantee that an individual departure will operate.

Rebooking and refund options

Lufthansa says affected passengers will be contacted by their respective airlines and offered flexible rebooking or a full refund. SWISS gives the same options in its own announcement.

Open the booking using your airline reference and check every affected sector, including any connection. If a replacement itinerary has been offered, review its dates, airports and onward arrangements before accepting it. Keep a copy of cancellation messages and the alternative you select.

If you have not received a message, check the reservation directly instead of assuming it remains unchanged. Keep the contact details attached to the booking current so the airline can reach you.

Keep each carrier’s notice separate

This decision concerns these airlines’ Dubai services. It does not establish that Dubai’s airports are closed or that every airline has stopped flying there. A flight marketed by one carrier may also be operated by another; read the operator shown on the itinerary.

Flyzeu’s KLM Gulf cancellations guide covers a separate carrier notice. Use the policy and dates that apply to the ticket you actually hold.
