Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority is seeking feedback on draft guidance for managing potential conflicts between drones, with submissions closing on November 17, 2026.
The consultation opened on October 28. CASA says the document recommends practices rather than introducing new regulatory requirements. Its scope is drone-to-drone conflicts, rather than encounters between drones and crewed aircraft.
Who can respond
The consultation is aimed at drone operators, remote pilots and crew, traffic-management service suppliers and other people supporting those operations.
The draft covers sharing planned-flight information, using available traffic-management services, coordinating with other operators and checking operations against planned areas.
Where to submit feedback
Read the draft and respond through CASA’s official consultation page. CASA says it will review responses and publish a consultation summary before setting out the next steps.
