Qantas is promoting four weekly direct flights between Auckland and Adelaide from October 30, 2026, restoring its seasonal link between New Zealand and South Australia. The airline’s current Auckland–Adelaide promotion sets out the starting date and included services.
An October 30 report by aeroTELEGRAPH also describes the resumption of Qantas’s Adelaide–Auckland service after its seasonal pause.
Four days a week, rather than a daily timetable
The advertised base pattern gives travellers a direct option without an interstate connection. It still requires checking which flights operate on the exact outbound and return dates: a four-day pattern is not a daily service, and a seasonal route should not be assumed to run year-round.
Use the airline’s booking calendar for the full journey, including the return date, before arranging accommodation or separate onward flights. Confirm transfer and baggage arrangements when combining independently booked sectors.
Baggage and onboard services
Qantas’s promotion includes 30kg of checked baggage, together with meals, drinks and entertainment. The page qualifies these offerings: dining varies by aircraft, route, cabin and season, while entertainment varies by route and aircraft.
Its Wi-Fi statement also has a condition. Free connectivity is offered between New Zealand and Australia when travelling on a Wi-Fi-connected aircraft; the promotion is not a guarantee of Wi-Fi on every individual departure.
Check the allowance, cabin and conditions attached to the selected booking, alongside the schedule. This report does not quote a starting fare or guarantee seat availability.
